Gale Le Goma Geothermal Drilling Project

Pars completed its first pilot geothermal well in Gale Le Goma Geothermal Development Project in Djibouti. This was a pilot well, drilled by utilizing a modified 40t Failing Gefco CF2000 drilling rig.

Initial well tests yielded a brine temperature of 135°C from the 450m deep GLG-1 slim-hole well, which proved the presence of an upper reservoir in the field. The main reservoir was discovered in earlier studies, to have temperatures reaching up to 360°C at 2000m depths.
